Less than ten kilometers from the medieval town of Provins, in the Seine-et-Marne region, in the hamlet of Savigny, in Saint-Hilliers, there's an educational farm where many furry and feathered residents live. It's the perfect opportunity to discover them on a day out with the kids!

Welcome to the Saint-Hilliers Farm, the educational farm that's perfect for a family outing. Here, you’ll meet no fewer than 30 two- or four-legged residents: donkeys, pigs, cows, horses, rabbits, goats, as well as a variety of poultry, with geese, turkeys, chicks, ducks... They’re here to introduce you to the world of the farm.

During your family visit, you will therefore be able to milk the goats, hold small chicks in your hands, collect the eggs from the laying hens right from the straw, shear the wool off the backs of the sheep... Or, take the opportunity to cuddle the animals, stroke the pigs, brush the donkeys and horses, etc. Each visit is guided by a farm facilitator and lasts two hours; count on €10 per person to take part. The farm opens every Saturday and on public holidays, some Sundays and weekdays only during school holidays. The visit always runs at 3:00 PM and ends at 5:00 PM: in any case, you’re advised to call the farm, since registrations are only by phone!

The Saint-Hilliers Farm dates back to the 17th century: it was bought by Michel Mellinger in 1977 to be used for agricultural purposes until 1994. Yet, as early as 1992, children began regularly coming to the farm to meet the animals: gradually, the farm would offer local youngsters the chance to discover its quirky residents during family tours, still highly appreciated today!
