At the beginning of June, Parisians and Ile-de-France residents are invited to the region's most beautiful parks, gardens, squares and hills. What's on the programme? Numerous free activities for young and old!

On June 1 and 2, 2024, the most beautiful gardens in Paris and the Île-de-France region open their doors to the general public for the Rendez-vous aux Jardins event. Whether you're with family, friends, lovers or on your own, come and discover the exceptional gardens nearest you, or take your Navigo pass (or your car, if you've got a driver's license) to discover the guided tours, events, workshops, concerts and walks on offer in many of the gardens.

Whether you're interested in private gardens, departmental estates, botanical gardens, unusual green spaces... make an appointment to visit the garden of your choice at this exceptional event!

The Parc de Cluny in Thiais, in the Val-de-Marne region of France, is a haven of peace where you're completely immersed in nature. Ideal for a picnic, a stroll or a simple outdoor outing, the park is ideal for young and old alike. The program for Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2024 includes:

  • Discover the Cluny orchard
    Saturday, June 1, 3:00 p.m.

    Discovery of the Parc de Cluny orchard at 3 and 4 p.m., organized by the town in partnership with the association Les Croqueurs de Pommes Ile-de-France: presentation of selected apple and pear trees and the importance of preserving Ile-de-France varieties, discussion of arboricultural practices.



  • Walk - workshops through the wooded park
    Sunday, June 2, 10:00 a.m.

    From the Gustave Léveillé esplanade, let yourself be guided on a species recognition tour, punctuated by workshops and games to stimulate your senses, accompanied by an Office National des Forêts forestry coordinator.



  • Presentation of the amateur garden cooking competition
    Sunday, June 2, 3:00 pm

    Entertainment from the park terrace, on the theme of taste during the first garden cooking competition organized by the City in partnership with a market-garden farmer. On the menu: the creation of a salad using organically grown produce, in particular from the city's permacultural garden.
