Initiated by the Ministry of Culture, the public is invited to explore the most beautiful gardens in Paris and the Île-de-France region during a special weekend on June 3rd and 4th, 2023. From hidden gardens and sprawling green spaces spanning several hectares to departmental parks, whether public or private, there will be dozens—possibly over a hundred—gardens open for visitors to discover! So, the gardens are taking center stage for this year's Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2023, offering an exciting lineup of activities for the whole family: , creative workshops, concerts, tastings, and much more await you with special programs designed just for this occasion!
When it comes to the most beautiful rosary gardens of Île-de-France, one cannot overlook the one in L’Haÿ-les-Roses, located in Val-de-Marne, nor that of Provins, in Seine-et-Marne! Spanning over three hectares, this stunning rose garden is crisscrossed by streams, creating a picturesque rustic stroll for all visitors. It is home to more than 500 varieties of fragrant roses, including the one that has lent its name to the city, the Provins Rose or Rosa gallica officinalis, its scientific name. If you’re passing through the medieval town of Provins, be sure to stop by, especially during the peak of rose bloom!
