Jardin de la Citadelle
Behind the tall walls of 12 rue de la Citadelle lies William's garden, a living tapestry where distinct atmospheres coexist—classic order meeting poetic whimsy. This garden has drawn widespread media attention, and William’s talents will soon be spotlighted on the TV show Les As du jardin, produced by France Télévisions.
The following artists will be present in the Citadel garden throughout the weekend of RDV aux jardins:
* Isabelle Diffre, a visual artist based in Pontoise, explores the notion of landscape through ink and painting. Her work steps off the canvas to experiment with volumes and diverse materials (globes with street lamps, branches, bones...) gathered along her wanderings.
* Nils Nijman Diffre, a designer trained at Boule, the Design Academy Eindhoven, and ENS Paris-Saclay. Nils delves into the close ties between materials and techniques.
* Oliveur le rêveur, contemporary figuration with a symbolic dimension.
* ZAZCAT, after a career as a graphic designer in Paris, she set up her atelier in Santeuil, in the heart of the Vexin, in 2017. The through-line of her work is to draw viewers’ attention to the beauty of wildlife, shift their perspective, and encourage preservation—all presented with a whimsical, poetic touch through garden-friendly objects (nest boxes, feeders...) and sculptures charged with meaning.
