Discovering Sonja's Gardens: A four-season Eden in Perray-en-Yvelines

Originally made up of 3,000 m² of former cornfields, Jardinsde Sonja has been patiently shaped since 1980 by landscape architect Sonja Gauron. On site, this green setting in Le Perray-en-Yvelines allows you to discover over 2000 different plants, which evolve and renew themselves every year. It's a garden of the four seasons, with enchanting scents to awaken your five senses. You'll discover nature's treasures, in perfect symbiosis with man and the environment.

The story of Sonja's Gardens is a true human and horticultural adventure. Sonja had to overcome the challenges of clay soil, strong winds, impermeable soil and plant diseases, without resorting to chemical treatments. Systematically mulching the beds, improving the consistency of the soil and installing a drainage system have enabled the garden to achieve unrivalled diversity and beauty.

The garden's treasures include :

• a collection of old roses,
• magnificent clematis
• rhododendrons and azaleas,
• colorful hydrangeas
• fragrant viburnums,
• Japanese maples (Acer palmatum),
• and many other decorative foliage plants.
