Indian Nights: Jardin d'Acclimatation's 2026 light trail invites you to the land of the Taj Mahal

After its last edition focused on Japan, the quintessential land of the Rising Sun and centuries-old traditions, this year the light journey relocates to India—the land of Maharajas, the Taj Mahal, and a wealth of legends, tales, and traditions. A unique lantern festival, a one-way ticket to India.

When winter settles in and night lingers, the Jardin d’Acclimatation rekindles its glow. From November 27, 2026 to February 21, 2027, the historic Bois de Boulogne park stages its fourth edition of the Lantern Festival, "Nuits indiennes". After sparking Chinese dragons in 2023 and roaring dinosaurs in 2024, and before offering a direct ticket to Japan in 2025, it’s time for a journey to India, with more than 2,000 lanterns to plunge you into the land of the Maharajas.

For more than three months, come immerse yourself in India’s culture, its divinities and traditional festivals—an immense country with a thousand and one facets, home to more than a billion people. From sacred animals to Hindu temples, and the multicolored saris traditionally worn by Indian women, discover the landscapes and iconic symbols of the country as you dive into an India immersion. From the Taj Mahal to Varanasi, via New Delhi or Jaipur, Goa and Pondicherry, stroll along this lantern-lit route that reflects India.

To experience this luminous path, head to Jardin d'Acclimatation, from Friday, November 27, 2026 to Sunday, February 21, 2027, between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM (last entry at 9:00 PM). The route is open every day from Monday to Sunday during school holidays, and from Wednesday to Sunday during the academic term.

To extend the experience, a food court will offer Indian specialties from November to February. A chance to (re)discover this vibrant, spice-filled cuisine. The food stalls are not included in the ticket price and must be paid for separately.

Admission is €18 per adult at the full rate, €14 per adult at the reduced rate (families with several children, seniors from 60...), and €12 per child, with tout-petits under 4 years old entering for free.
