The month of November in Paris is shaping up to be tamer than ever, with the long-awaited return of the Dachshund Walk! These hairy little sausages on legs are ready to invade the capital for the sixth edition of the Paris Sausage Walk, on Sunday November 16, 2025, from 11am to 1pm.
Inspired by its London counterpart, in 2024 the march attracted an incredible pack of over 500 dachshunds of all varieties, parading along the banks of the Seine. A canine feat to be repeated this year along the same route, starting and finishing on the David-Ben-Gourion esplanade, in Paris's 7th arrondissement, opposite the Quai Branly museum. The horde of short-legged canines will trot along the quays towards the Port de Solférino, opposite the Musée d'Orsay.
Behind this joyous cavalcade lies a noble cause. The Paris Sausage Walk is first and foremost a solidarity event, organized by kind-hearted volunteers who love their little fur balls. For the occasion, bags, accessories and posters will be on sale, raising funds for the association"Teckels sans doux foyer", dedicated to the well-being and adoption of dachshunds.
Come and meet other Dachshund enthusiasts and join the mini-Dachshund Big Balade movement! Attention, high level of adorability!
You can indicate your intention to participate by completing this questionnaire (1 per household) to help us organize the event.
