February vacations 2025 at the Château de Fontainebleau, the program for children

For the winter vacations, also known as the February vacation, the Château de Fontainebleau is coming alive with a variety of activities for young and old. Exhibitions, guided tours (especially for families), guided tours and workshops are all on the program, offering a wealth of cultural discoveries.

The Château de Fontainebleau is offering a rich and varied program for the February 2025 vacations, giving visitors of all ages the opportunity to explore the history and culture of this iconic site. And as a special treat, EU citizens under the age of 26 can enter the château free of charge. However, you will have to pay for specific workshops and guided tours.

Here are the top activities for the 2025 winter vacations:

Family visit "D'Artagnan" (February 19 to March 2):

Immerse yourself in the history of Louis XIII and the intrigues of his court, as you explore the château in the footsteps of the most famous of the musketeers. Join the Cadets de la Garde and follow the adventures of the courtier and the musketeer through the different rooms, and discover courtly life: military salutes, the curtsy... Thwart a plot alongside d'Artagnan and witness the final duel in the heart of the Cour Ovale.

Duration: 1h, for all, children aged 6 and over, at 10:30 am, 12 pm, 2:15 pm, 3:45 pm

Castle discovery tour

Duration: 1h30, every day except Tuesday (at 11:15 am, 2:30 pm and 4:15 pm)
Price: €19, €5 concessions (château admission included)

The Empress Museum

Duration: 30 minutes, every day except Tuesday, at 10:45 a.m.

Secret Fontainebleau
