KM12: Chelles, a free artistic celebration on the site of the future Grand Paris Express station

Looking for an unusual, free experience? With the opening of line 16 of the Grand Paris Express, in its entirety, scheduled for 2028, the Société des Grands Projets is inviting the most curious to come and walk on the floor of a future station! The station in question is Chelles - Gournay, located in the immediate vicinity of the RER E and Transilien line P stations.

Simply christened " KM 12: Chelles - Grande fête de chantier " , this special event, to be held on Saturday June 14, 2025 from 2pm to 10pm, is an opportunity to discover the progress made on the impressive construction site of this future Paris region station, while enjoying exclusive, free installations, performances and entertainment, including a brass band, a majorette parade, workshops, a giant barbecue and DJ sets. For the occasion, the renowned Kitty Hartl, who was in charge of Nuit Blanche à Paris in 2022, has been appointed artistic director of the event. Annie Sperling is in charge of scenography.

KM12: Chelles, a major construction site party, here's the program

Artistic immersion in the future station

• Immersive tour of the future station, featuring the"Transit" light and sound installation by Studio Animal & Cabasanroque. On view continuously from 2 pm to 10 pm.
  
  
• Two works by Pierre Delavie to be discovered on site:
  • La grue colibri, a poetic installation from 2 pm to 10 pm,
  • Cassandra, a musical work featuring opera singers Leila Chafii and Marie Vasconi on three separate occasions (2.30pm, 5pm, 7.45pm).
    
    
• A three-part fire ceremony (4.15pm, 7.30pm, 9pm) by Yena Young.

Performances, workshops and a popular festival

• The Orchestre International du Vetex (brass band) at 2.45pm and 4.30pm,
• Parade by Major's Girls, Montpellier's intergenerational majorettes, at 2:00, 4:00 and 6:00 pm,
• Free wandering of Yeti Pop, amazing creatures on rollerblades,
• Participatory performance by choreographer Rodrigue Lino at 3:30pm,
• Line dance workshop led by Jacquelyn Elder and guests at 5:30 p.m.

A day of music

• Set by DJ Simon Boccanegra (Acidulated Pop Disco) from 6.30pm to 7.30pm;
• DJ Netz (psychedelic cumbia) and burlesque dancer Kitten de Ville close the party from 8-10pm.

• Foodtrucks,
• Children's workshops,
• A partners' village,
• Activities focusing on site trades.

Join us this Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the construction site of the future Chelles-Gournay station, for an exclusive visit and a festive, artistic and popular event! Access is via the Parc du Souvenir Émile Fouchard. The event, free of charge and with free admission, runs from 2 pm to 10 pm. Please note that, for safety reasons, closed shoes must be worn to access the site.
