Wam Park Rambouillet water park: activities and free swimming in Yvelines

We're off to discover the Étangs de Hollande leisure park, which is getting a facelift. Not only is access free, but a new inflatable water park, Water Games, has also been installed. Pedalos, canoes, paddles and fine sand also await you. All of which promises a lively summer swimming season.

The Étangs de Hollande leisure park is getting a complete makeover. And this year's summer season is full of surprises. On June 14, 2025, Wam Park Rambouillet opens its doors in Les Bréviaires(78). And the good news is that the leisure park , with its swimming area and beach, is now open to the public. From June 14 to September 14, 2025, you'll be able to enjoy a wealth of varied activities, including the new Water Games inflatable courses, in an exceptional natural setting.

Located in the heart of the Rambouillet forest, the Étangs de Hollande leisure park is entering a new era under the management of Wam Park, a company specializing in water sports. For the record, this operator already has 8 parks to its credit, including Fontainebleau , which we have already tested.

This historic site, built in the 17th century to supply the fountains of the Château de Versailles, has been transformed into a modern recreation area with facilities for all ages.

Activities include:

Supervised swimming: accessible free of charge on weekends from June 14 to July 4, from 12pm to 6pm, then every day from July 5 to August 31 at the same times. The swimming area is marked out and supervised. We enjoyed the 28° water, which you can enter without a care in the world.

Parcours Water Games: inflatables on water, from 5 years old, with prices of €13 for 1h, €18 for 2h and €26 for the day. Children under 10 must be accompanied.

Pedalos, canoes and paddles for hire: explore the ponds with family and friends.

Minigolf, ping-pong, beach volleyball and pétanque: for convivial moments on dry land.

A catering area with covered terrace, solarium, deckchairs and parasols is available. Please note that picnics and personal consumption are not permitted on site. If you wish to eat on site, please use the snack bar.

If you eat there, however, beware of the queue, which can be long. It's currently the same line as the activities, but this is set to change soon. So you'll have to be patient or arrive earlier, or even after you've eaten.

And there's more to come. Like the Fontainebleau site, Rambouillet's Wam Park will be equipped with a water-ski lift, scheduled for summer 2026, to satisfy all slide enthusiasts, and a Water Jump, the famous vertiginous waterslide, expected in 2028, for guaranteed thrills.

In short, if you want to swim for free, relax on a sandy beach and have fun on the water, this is the place to be in the Yvelines.
