For a family splash or an adrenaline-pumping session with friends, head to Wam Park 77, the leisure and water-activities hub based in Fontainebleau.

How about a refreshing day on the water? Wam Park is the name of a leisure park offering a wide range of water-based activities, and it's sure to delight anyone looking for fun and fresh air in the summer of 2025.

Located just outside Paris in the Seine-et-Marne region, this spot 20 minutes from Fontainebleau offers a wide range of activities for young and old, accessible to all.

Discover the spot on video :

Whether you’re after relaxation, a bit of sport, a leisurely stroll, adrenaline-pumping thrills, or smart ways to stay cool and enjoy the warmth without suffering, this has something for every mood.

Another nice new feature: free-access lockers are now at your disposal to secure your belongings during activities. The recreation area welcomes you from April to November, with a gradual opening of activities. The waterski lifts and paddle are open all season. The inflatable games (watergames) are available, for their part, from June to late September. Note that supervised swimming is only allowed in July and August, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

We then arrive at a true green idyll. Picture a stunning lake framed by trees and wide swaths of lawn where you can settle in wherever you like. In the center sits the reception for purchasing all activities and grabbing a snack. In addition to the water-based activities, the site boasts several play areas. Play areas for children, a beach volleyball court and a pétanque court are available.

Before we start, we head to reception to choose our activities and times. The clever ones will have done their shopping online to save time and get through quickly. The activities are limited to a certain number of people, so we advise you to arrive early to have a choice of times. Especially as there are fewer people on the activities in the mornings, it's a great way to get some peace and quiet.

Activities include:

  • Water ski lifts for young and old: the wake park is equipped with two water ski lifts, one bi-poulies, ideal for beginners, and a large 5-pylon lift, which can accommodate more than 30 people at a time. The bi-pulley version for beginners and children uses a cable and a line stretched between two pylons, each installed on a different bank of the lake. For the adult version, hang on tight - it's a real hair-raiser!

  • Water Jump, water slides: What is Water Jump? Well, all kinds of slides for children aged 7 and over. There are ten or so tracks of varying levels on each side of the water structure, plus two diving boards measuring 4 and 6 metres. Half of the slopes can be descended with buoys, the other half on your stomach or back. Vests are compulsory for children under 10 and optional for older children. Helmets are compulsory for all and supervised by lifeguards.

  • Le Water Games, the inflatable water games course: imagine Ninja Warrior in easy mode and you're there. Open every day in July and August, plus Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in September, this play area will blow your mind. With trampolines, climbing walls, jumping and sliding towers, a human catapult and obstacle courses, there's plenty of fun to be had in the water. Accessible from age 5 for children who can swim, a compulsory life jacket is provided. Price: €13 per hour or €18 for two hours. Or opt for the day pass at 26€. We'll admit it: after an hour, we'd worked hard to get back in the water and slide, and the break was long overdue.

  • Pedal-boating: pedal-boating also awaits you at the gateway to Paris, for a good time out on the water with family or friends, from 1 to 5 people. The lake is very large and the space is really nice, with plenty of room for jumping, swimming and gliding along in complete serenity.
