Coulommiers aime son brie, the not-to-be-missed cheese event in Seine-et-Marne

Come and celebrate Brie in Coulommiers on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September 2025! It's here, in the Brie region of Seine-et-Marne, that you'll find the gastronomic cradle of this famous soft cheese. From the Maison du Brie in Meaux, a museum dedicated entirely to Brie, to the Fête du Brie in Melun and the bicycle tours of the cheese dairies, it's up to the town of Coulommiers to organize its big Brie festivalin September.

Every year, on the last weekend in September, the Halle aux Fromages comes alive with a new edition of Coulommiers aime son brie. On the program? Culinary events, masterclasses with renowned chefs, a village of taste artisans, but above all, the highlight of the weekend is undoubtedly the parade of confrères. Every year, the Chevaliers du Brie de Coulommiers (generously accompanied by their confrères from Brie de Meaux and Brie de Melun) march in a festive fanfare.
