Street art: 26 Bombasphères artists take over a bar in Paris's 10th arrondissement - our photos

They're about to strike a new blow! The Bombasphères women artists are preparing a new street art event in the capital. This time, 26 of them are leaving their artistic mark on the walls of a Parisian bar.

For those who don't know, Les Bombasphères is a group of over 70 female urban artists. The group was launched at the initiative of Demoisellemm, whose work includes"Les 25... du 104". At the time, some thirty street artists took over a former hotel converted into a bar in the 13th arrondissement.

This autumn, Demoisellemm renews the experience, taking more than 20 other female Bombasphères artists with her on a new adventure. This time, they're creating frescoes on the walls of a bar in the 10th arrondissement. Their new playground is called Balou and is located at N°40 rue Louis Blanc, just a few steps from the metro station.

We had the opportunity to take an exclusive look at some of the frescoes. The opportunity to reveal that street artists have taken over a small room at the back of the establishment. So don't expect to find frescoes all over the bar. Spread over two levels, the space reveals a dozen works on the theme of the jungle. Tiger, miniature zebra, chimpanzee and giant ant cover the walls of this small room at the back of the bar. The works will be permanent.

The event takes place over just three days. The inauguration takes place on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 7pm to midnight. The event continues throughout the weekend, on Saturday October 11 and Sunday October 12, 2025, from 2pm to 6:30pm. Live painting is scheduled for all three days, with Sori and Mojitofraise on October 10. The following day, October 11, features Norhka and Elimo. Finally, on October 12, live painting by Emyart, Licea and Massa. Don't miss a collab wall on October 10 and a shop area on October 11 and 12.
