How about going back in time to the days of Prohibition, without leaving the capital? To experience this incredible space-time journey, head for the capital's 11th arrondissement, to discover the Mosbter Bar, imagined by the Lozano brothers. For the summer season, two new cocktails have been added to the menu: the pisco-based "Citizen Kane", and the bourbon-based "Antidote".

Lovers of speakeasies and other hidden bars, discover the Mobster Bar as a matter of urgency. Nestling between the Oberkampf and Filles du Calvaire metros, this new bar is the brainchild of the Lozano brothers. After opening the Mobster Diner with its burger concept, brothers Javier and Francisco are back with... Mobster Bar. The next logical step in their adventure, this bar takes you back to the Prohibition era as if you were there, with its Art Deco style, its carefully selected jazzy music and, of course, its delicious cocktails!

But to sample these tasty beverages, you'll first need to enter the vintage telephone booth and find the entrance that will give you access to this unique and highly enjoyable journey. Once inside, let yourself be carried away by the intimate ambience.

On the menu, the Mobster Bar features classic cocktails with a twist, as well as signature creations such as the 'Santa Rosa' (Angostura, Champagne, chicha morada, Grand Marnier, sugar cube, red corn infusion) or the '1492' mocktail (Inca Kola, apple juice, grenadine, mint).

We loved the diversity of the cocktails and their perfectly mastered balance. Our favorite was the 'A rhum Supreme' cocktail. Behind this revisited 'El Presidente'? Dark rum, white Lillet, strawberry syrup, Grand Marnier, vanilla syrup and orange zest for a perfectly long finish.

We also loved the gourmet 'Vallejo' (Pisco, Angostura, lime, brown cane syrup, egg white and cinnamon), as well as the refreshing 'Dizzy Gillepsie' (Gin, basil, lemon, mint and honey syrup), inspired by Prohibition's flagship cocktail, the famous'Bee's Knees'.

For the 2020 summer season, the bar is showcasing two new cocktails imagined jointly by the Lozano brothers and mixologist Audrey Ursule. Discover the"Citizen Kane" with pisco and rose liqueur, and the"Antidote" with bourbon, apricot jam and Cointreau.

For those allergic to cocktails, the bar also offers wine and beer.

And to accompany these different beverages, the Mobster Bar offers charcuterie and cheese boards.
