Nestled at the gateway to Paris, within the prestigious Domaine de la Reine Margot in Issy-les-Moulineaux, Le Monactic is theunusual experience for lovers of places steeped in history. This speakeasy bar, concealed in a neo-Gothic chapel at the heart of a luxury hotel complex, offers a most unusual escape, combining intimacy with the discovery of exceptional rums.

The history of Le Monactic is intimately linked to that of the Domaine de la Reine Margot, where Marguerite de Valois, Queen Margot, found refuge in the 17th century. The chapel, built later in 1842 in a neo-Gothic style inspired by the majestic Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, is an architectural masterpiece. Protected as a Monument Historique since 1996, it now offers an unrivalled setting for the bar, combining the charm of the past with modern comforts.

Accessible by metro via Mairie d'Issy station, Le Monactic invites you to a confidential sensory immersion. Here, you can plunge into the world of exceptional rums. Masterclasses, hosted by a passionate sommelier, invite you on a journey of the senses for 70 euros per person, with a selection of four rums to discover, booked between 6pm and 7.30pm. The evening continues with an enchanting tasting from 7:30 to 10:30 pm, offering a panorama of world flavors for 45 euros per person.

Open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 6pm to 11pm, Le Monactic is an invitation to discovery in an intimate format. As there are only a dozen seats, we advise you to make a reservation.
