Smash Cakes, piñata cakes for children to destroy

Does your child want to let off steam and have fun at the same time? Why not buy him a Smash Cake?

Smash cakes are the latest culinary trend to come out of Australia: cakes that can be destroyed, smashed and exploded with a fake Thor's hammer to reveal the treats and chocolates inside. It's like eating a piñata! Here's a treat that's sure to please kids.

Imported to France by two friends already behind the Fury Rooms in Paris (those rooms where you can destroy everything from floor to ceiling), smash cakes are made from 50% white, milk or dark chocolate and contain no palm oil.

According to the designers, smash cakes are good for all occasions: a child's birthday, a hen party, Christmas with friends or even a baby shower, since smash cakes can also reveal a child's gender depending on the color of the sweets inside.
