Do you like flowers and lush greenery? Are you looking for the most flowery cafés in Paris for an original shoot, a romantic moment with your date walking around Paris or Valentine’s Day, or to feed your Instagram to bright pictures? Well, this is time to go around the most flowered cafés and spots in town.
The Maison Sauvage is a café-restaurant set in the lively and beautiful neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. This magical spot at the corner of a street, covering two stories, displays a façade covered in flowers changing with the seasons. Have breakfast, lunch or dinner, to enjoy the perfect brunch menu to share. Go without reservation, every day, from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m.
At the exit of the Saint-Paul metro station in the Marais, discover the La Favorite, this very girly café-bistro that actually is a café-restaurant. Enjoy a menu mixing Paris and New York. Here is a lovely décor likely to delight people looking at life through rose-tinted glasses.
The Café Cassette, set in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area as well, mixes modernity and tradition in a warm atmosphere. Under the bright yellow flap, where Instagram-worthy rocking chairs are waiting for you, hides a restaurant-bar serving fresh and seasonal dishes as well as original cocktails.
Café Le Paradis
The Paradis is a corner café set rue Saint-Martin in Paris 4th arrondissement. The location serves French cuisine based on fresh produces. Have a seat inside or on the lovely terrace open onto the pedestrian street.
The Vrai Paris is a staple café set rue des abbesses in Montmartre. The place – open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. – serves a bistro-inspired menu. We love the yesteryear vibe and the magic still works. From the roast chicken to the king shrimp risotto, to the tartare or the Tatin, have a seat and enjoy a timeless moment.
La Diva des Près
In the very heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood, discover the La Diva des Prés, a chic and trendy local brasserie. Covered in magnificent bougainvillea plants, you will look at the bright side of life! Dishes of the new winter menu are a must (French caviar, homemade Gers duck foie gras, Iberian Paleta “Bellota”, truffled burrata, avocado toast, Truffled grilled cheese, nice roast meats, lamb’s shoulder, chocolate mousse to share…!), without forgetting cocktails mixed by the place’s mixologist (to try: the Tata Saint-Ger & the Diva Spritz).
In a colorful setting, this restaurant in Paris 8th arrondissement featuring views on the Arc de Triomphe unveils a lush façade. On the menu, classic French cuisine.
Au Vieux Paris d'Arcole
The last and undoubtedly our favorite place as it involves real flowers. The Au Vieux Paris d’Arcole unveils a historic setting. Set a stone’s throw from the cathedral on the Île de la Cité, this ancient building actually is one of the oldest houses in Paris – since 1512. The place owns seven baroque rooms with bright hues you can privatize: from the romantic candlelit dinner for two, to the event party for 150 guests. Every year, towards late April, the wisteria starts blooming, a magical, but very ephemeral moment to discover this spring.
