Looking for a new spot to relax in August? Head for the quays of the Seine and the Port de Bercy to discover a truly ephemeral interlude until August 31, 2023. Located on the CEMEX site, Quai Sauvage reinvents an industrial space into a small island of greenery, open from Thursday to Sunday, with a varied and festive program featuring live music, yoga classes, workshops for children and adults, sports competitions, plant markets or clothing sales, not to mention a great range of catering options.
Throughout the month, come and enjoy the sunshine by the water, thanks to inclusive outdoor activities adapted to all ages. This experiment aims to raise the issue of global warming in the city, and the need to seek coolness in all available locations, including industrial sites along the Seine. In the shade of the fruit trees, visitors from Paris and abroad will be able to enjoy a refreshment/restaurant area, an entertainment zone, one reserved for sports and yoga classes, and a sandy area for playing pétanque!
On the program : theme days, cocktail parties, acoustic concerts, and a host of events to meet up and unwind, whatever your interests! From August 10, a picnic offer will be available to enjoy the banks of the Seine, with a tablecloth, a bottle of wine and a board. So bring your friends and try out this new little paradise on the quays of the 12th arrondissement!
