Opened just over a year ago in the 16th arrondissement, theDucasse Baccarat restaurantwas awarded thePrix Versailles on Thursday, December 4, 2025, receiving the distinction of Most Beautiful Restaurant in the World. This global architecture and design award was presented during a ceremony held atUNESCO headquarters in Paris.
For the past 10 years, the Prix Versailles has included a series of architecture competitions highlighting the best contemporary projects in the world. The jury awards 24 titles of "the most beautiful in the world" in eight categories: museums, emporiums, hotels, restaurants, airports, passenger stations, and sports.
"In this illustrious house of artists, we have imagined a hospitality for Alain Ducasse Baccarat that resonates with the times. Claire Sonnet, Christophe Saintagne, Robin Schroeder, and all their teams have created a proposal that re-enchants the dining experience," said multi-starred chef Alain Ducasse upon the announcement of this award.
