The Cheese Festival turns the town center of Meulan-en-Yvelines into a gourmet rendezvous on October 10–11, 2026. For its 31st edition, producers, affineurs and artisans showcase nearly 300 varieties of cheese, offering a chance to taste, ask questions and assemble your basket.
About twenty winemakers are also slated to participate. On site, a dining area will offer cheese-focused specialties, while concerts, musicians and dancers accompany visitors as they explore the stalls and shops of the downtown area.
Families will find a kids’ area along the banks of the Seine, featuring a mini-farm, straw games, inflatable play structures and pony rides. On Saturdays, GPS&O also runs activities centered on waste sorting, with adult supervision required.
The festival runs on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A free shuttle service will be available, operating hourly from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Check the municipal program and the shuttle route to plan your visit.
