Villa Sopi, an apartment-hotel to make you feel at home in Paris

Close to Montmartre, the Moulin Rouge and theOpéra Garnier, in the corner of South Pigalle from which it takes its name, Villa Sopi is a new apartment-hotel that combines guest independence with high-end 24-hour hotel service, including housekeeping. With a range of floor plans from studios to one- and two-bedroom apartments for up to 6 people, Villa Sopi is nestled at the start of Cité Condorcet, the neighborhood's discreet cobblestone alleyway.

Behind its typically Parisian façade with Haussmannian charm, calm is the order of the day. To preserve the soul of the place, hotelier Patrick Hayat chose architectural firm Émilie Maltoff, who preserved the original moldings, marble, oak parquet, early 20th-century stained glass and woodwork, while injecting a dose of modernity, with deep green and terracotta walls and works by French-Cypriot artist Michele Ansermet Papadopoulos paying tribute to the Enlightenment.

Each apartment features a lounge area, a compact but fully-equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), one or more bedrooms overlooking the courtyard or the street, with top-of-the-range bedding and Egyptian cotton sheets, and a bathroom.

In terms of hotel service, this new Patrick Hayat-designed venue has a 24-hour reception to cater to every need and request, including in-room delivery of a Parisian breakfast (coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, buttered croissants, freshly baked bread with homemade jam, fruit), as well as reservations for nearby restaurants and cabs.

Of course, such a service comes at a price (from €180 per night for studios), but Villa Sopi is definitely more intimate and independent than a simple hotel!
