Since 2017, Chef Davide Galloni has been delighting taste buds at the neo-bistro Les Foodies. Featuring creative and generous fusion cuisine, the restaurant has become a must-visit gourmet destination in the center of the capital. If you haven't already, don't wait to discover it!

In a neighborhood where bars are on every corner, one restaurant stands out. Tucked away in a small alley in the 4th arrondissement, not far from Rue de Rivoli, its blue storefront does not go unnoticed. This is where Les Foodiesopened in 2017.

Behind this gastronomic hotspot are Alex Kogan and Thai-Italian chef Davide Galloni.

The two friends met while studying at the famous Le Cordon Bleu school in Paris and wanted to create a place that reflected their personalities and offered fusion cuisine. Having worked all over the world—in Mongolia, Australia, Mexico, Italy, and Spain—ChefDavide Galloni draws inspiration from his various experiences to create creative and generous dishes that are as beautiful as they are delicious.

Just take a look at the menu to get a better understanding of the gastronomic world that inspires the chef. At lunchtime, the restaurant offers a €21 set menu (starter + main course or main course + dessert) with a choice of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts. In the evening, the menu expands to include five starters, six main courses, and three desserts.

That evening, the chef wanted to surprise us and decided to concoct a special menu with several small plates to savor.

We begin the tasting with an appetizer: beef tartare with scallop coral mayonnaise. A more than successful land-sea combination that gives us a nice preview of what's to come...

Next up is an incredible Jerusalem artichoke soup accompanied by egg yolk and pistachios for crunch. A real treat that we highly recommend.

The chef also offers a delicious artichoke fricassee mixed with Brussels sprouts, egg yolk, and pistachios. Once again, it's a real treat for the taste buds.

Finally, to finish off the starters, there is a tasty and tender grilled octopus marinated in red cabbage, delicately placed on hummus and garnished with cime di rapa and chorizo. A real favorite!

Not only are these dishes delicious, they are also impeccably presented, which is sure to whet your appetite.

Despite the small (but already very generous) portions offered especially for the occasion, our stomachs are starting to feel full... However, we really fell in love with one of the dishes that the chef was eager to introduce us to:pan-fried scallops with small pieces ofsweetbread and puntarelle. Once again, the chef's beloved combination of land and sea ingredients made a big impression and delighted our taste buds.

Among the other dishes on offer that evening, many customers opted for the oxtail tortelloni accompanied byartichokes and an oyster emulsion. The extremely fresh sea bass, served with razor clams, clams, tom kah sauce, and soba noodles, was also a hit, as was the quail with pak choi, quinoa, and beetroot.

Finally, to end this delicious menu on a sweet note, the chef invites us to try his Foodies Split. Behind this name lies a delicious dessert made with pieces of caramelized banana, marmalade, white chocolate ice cream, and a sprinkling of walnuts and chocolate. Once again, the presentation of the dish is stunning. Add to that a perfectly mastered sweetness and you have a dessert to die for!

Other desserts served that evening? Jardinmisu in the shape of a small flower pot with mascarpone and redcurrants, and cantucci biscuits dipped in black tea.

With an evening menu that changes every 4 to 5 weeks, you'll want to come back again and again to try the new dishes created by the chef.

Because once you've been to Les Foodies, you're sure to come back. Come back to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and savor beautifully presented, delicious dishes with inspiring flavors created by a passionate chef.

The bonus? The chef who doesn't hesitate to step out of his open kitchen when he can to meet customers.
