Avocateria Gare de Lyon, the 12th arrondissement's new 100% avocado and brunch address

Attentionavocado lovers! Head for Avocateria Gare de Lyon, the new address of the king of avocados in Paris's 12th arrondissement, just opposite the train station. Following on from two other addresses in Sentier and Bastille, this new establishment offers brunches every day of the week, as well asAvocateria's signature healthy dishes, all sourced from avocados.

As for the restaurant, Linda Trin, the founder, has seen the bigger picture with a beautiful, more spacious room, with curves and pastel colors reminiscent of the graphic universe of Wes Anderson films. On the menu, a fine brunch to be enjoyed well into the afternoon, with hits like the Flower Avocado Toast with beet hummus or theAvocado Toast Signature. And then there's the house novelty: the Breakfast Pancake, with two fluffy pancakes (made without butter), two fried eggs and guacamole, plus avocado fries on the side.

And of course, on the beverage side, the best to warm you up with teas, coffees, Golden Lattes, Chai and other tasty Matcha Lattes. A real avocado craze, even in winter, with ultra-comforting dishes to indulge without depriving yourself.

A cuisine that the editors were able to try out. Knowing the other addresses, we focused here on the novelties, namely brunch in breakfast mode. We were tempted by the Breakfast Pancake, avocado fries, golden latte, earl grey tea and, for dessert, the Crazy Banana Pancakes with banana and homemade cashew praline.

The pancakes are particularly light and ultra-tasty... Nothing to complain about. The eggs are good, cooked just right, and the guacamole is quite spicy, but spices things up nicely. Accompanied by a Golden Latte, the whole thing is ultra-comforting, ideal in winter. As for the avocado fries, these are slices of avocado breaded and fried in oil. They're strangely low in fat, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. An original way to enjoy avocado!

We'll save the best for last: the dessert, revisiting one of the brand's hits... The praliné is just a little jewel to die for, which stands on its own. It's so simple, you'll come back for it every time you visit Avocateria! To accompany it, a nice cup of tea to digest while warming up.
