Lavomatic: Paris new hidden bar

After the bar hidden in a taqueria or at the back of a pizzeria, discover now the new speakeasy bar in Paris hidden on the first floor of a laundromat! Lavomatic has set in Paris 10th arrondissement and is already widely talked about!

Having a drink while waiting for our dirty laundry dries up! It’s now possible thanks to the opening of Lavomatic.

This new cocktail bar is part of these new speakeasys, these well-hidden and very requested places. If La Candelaria, Moonshiner or La Mezcaleria made a splash when they opened, Lavomatic is likely to put them in the shadow.

And for good reason, this bar is located behind the door of a laundromat, in rue Renée Boulanger in Paris 10th arrondissement.

Once you’re in the laundromat, search for the hidden button and access Lavomatic!

If the pop and original decoration (faded walls, Verner Panton colored rugs, swings by way of seats, Kilim throw pillows…) will seduce more than one visitor, the drinks offered will take care of the rest.

The bar also offers wine, with a selection of natural wines worked in small organic or biodynamic vineyards as well as cocktails.

On the menu? The “Basilic instinct”, based on fresh basil, cucumber, lime juice, elderberry flower cordial, egg white and Gin Hendrick’s with cucumber and rose or the “DetoxOmatic”, with beetroot, blackcurrant, artichoke liquor, gin, lemon and grapefruit.

Discover the “Joséphine” too based on fresh tangerine purée, Rum Latino Compagnie des Indes, tangerine liquor, egg white, Get 31 and dehydrated peppermint or the “Spider Pig” with Jameson Irish Whiskey, red Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth, Drambuie Whiskey liquor, liquid smoke sauce, black garlic and Bitter tobacco.

To accompany the whole, Lavomatic suggests dishes cooked on the spot and based on quality ingredients, changing with the seasons and the market: caramelized filet mignon with pomegranate, sea bream ceviche, cucumber, organic free-range ham ripe for 18 months by Maison Laborie, Bordier seaweed butter, Cévennes Pélardon and black figs perfectly ripped or the pumpkin with chive broth and Caviar d’Aquitaine…
