In Paris, it's not uncommon to come face to face with a secret concept. A discreet entrance to a laundromat, a passage through the kitchens of a restaurant or a book drawn at random from a library can all lead you to a speakeasy. On the other hand, a hidden hotel in the middle of Paris would be a very big deal...
And there's one with a cover you'd never suspect. If you're strolling through Paris's third arrondissement, not far from the gourmet Rue de Bretagne, you may have noticed a bakery with a facade reminiscent of the Paris of yesteryear. Listed as a Monument Historique, this is the oldest address of its kind in the capital. Its origins date back to the time of Henri IV, no less!
This bakery hides a big secret: it's the entrance to theHôtel du Petit Moulin, a hidden address in Paris. If you keep your eyes open, you'll notice a few clues: on one of the windows, as well as on the sign hanging above the entrance, you'll see the name of thehotel. All you have to do is walk through the door to discover this surprising spot.

The result is a 4-star boutique hotel whose charm is an ode to the capital. The atypical spaces, so common in the Marais district, were decorated by fashion designer Christian Lacroix, no less! It doesn't get much more Parisian than that! Here, each room reveals its own unique ambience, making it a perfect place to become a regular pied-à-terre.
Parisians of all ages can take advantage of the opportunity to stop off at the Hôtel du Petit Moulin' s cosy bar, which offers a home-from-home ambience, reminiscent of an old Parisian cafe, with a trendy twist to keep things fresh!
