Do you happen to be in the Place de la République area? If so, head to Café Foufou, the new Coffee Shop on rue Oberkampf.
On site, discover a bright café with a large patio door, a high pink marble bar, open-plan kitchen, exposed stone walls, high ceiling, plants, we feel very comfortable.
Open every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (excluding on Sundays from 9 a.m.), the place expects you from breakfast to after-work. Breakfast, lunch on the go, snack, or even pre-dinner drinks, it is open non-stop.
One comes for a nice cup of coffee. What coffee? Kivu coffee, pure origin Arabica collected on the shores of the eponymous Congolese lake. A limited edition with chocolate hints. Note that Café Foufou is the only reseller in Paris. Here, no famous brands but organic, tasty coffee supporting truly ethical projects!
On the menu, homemade, fresh, simple and flavorful dishes. Chef Christophe Rousseau (who worked at the Ritz, L’Arpège, and George V), currently staying at Café La Perle, runs the kitchen and creates very tasty dishes.
Go for moist cakes, fluffy pancakes, smooth French toast, bowls and salads of the day, as well as detox juice made to order.
We love the warm porridge and fresh fruits, the soup of the day, deliciously spicy, and the avocado toast with smoked salmon.
How about taking a break?
