Hanging around Place de la République? Take a break at Café Foufou, the new Coffee Shop on Rue Oberkampf.
On site, you'll discover a bright café with a large bay window, a large pink marble bar with open kitchen, stone walls, high ceilings and plants - in short, everything you need to feel at ease.
Open every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except Sundays from 9 a.m.), it's open from breakfast to after-work drinks. Breakfast, lunch on the go, snacks or after-work drinks - it's open non-stop.
We come here for a good cup of coffee. Which coffee? Kivu coffee, a pure-origin Arabica harvested on the shores of the eponymous Congolese lake. A limited edition with hints of chocolate. Café Foufou is the only Parisian retailer of this coffee. There are no well-known brands here, just good, organic coffee that supports real ethical projects!
The à la carte menu features homemade dishes that are simple, fresh and tasty. Chef Christophe Rousseau, who has worked at the Ritz, the Arpège and the George V - and is currently resident at Café La Perle - oversees the kitchen, creating an exquisite combination of recipes.
So here's to fluffy cakes, fluffy pancakes, fluffy French toast, bowls and salads of the day, as well as detox juices, all made fresh.

We love the hot porridge with fresh fruit, the soup of the day with just the right amount of spice, or the avocado sandwich with smoked salmon.
How about a little break?
