For the second time and throughout the summer, the Musée Guimet invites you to discover its panoramic terrace when it reopens on May 19, 2021. It's the perfect opportunity to soak up the sun while enjoying a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower.

Want to soak up the sunshine while enjoying an incomparable view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower? The Musée Guimet will be opening its panoramic terrace to visitors for the second year running, as soon as the museum reopens on May 19, 2021. This unique rooftop, whose architecture is reminiscent of"the decks of the great transatlantic liners", is open all summer until 6pm, and tends to return every year to the delight of lovers of Asian art and beautiful views.

And on the program of this beautiful terrace, we hope to find the ice cream kiosk, proposed in 2020 and inviting you to discover a whole palette of perfumes, each as bewitching as the next, for an open-air tasting and a well-deserved break after strolling through the museum's aisles. To access this summer terrace, go to the third floor of the museum to enjoy the view. Please note that, as in the museum itself, the terrace is equipped with the same sanitary measures as the permanent and temporary collections.

You can also take advantage of the terrace to discover the surrounding flora, with plants and flowers, all native to Asia. The wearing of masks, the availability of hydro-alcoholic gel, physical distancing and other preventive measures are all part of the instructions to be respected, for the safety of all. And for those who prefer to stay cool, we'll be taking the opportunity to discover the two exhibitions of the moment, namely theMarc Riboud exhibition and the retrospective on the Bamiyan site. Shall we go?
