Pinky Bloom, the tea room that makes you see life in pink

Unusual nugget alert! We've unearthed a gorgeous address that's as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the taste buds. Head for the capital's 16th arrondissement, not far from the quays of the Seine, on Avenue de New-York. At number 68, a flowery spot catches the eye. Here you are in front of Pinky Bloom, the capital's new gourmet and unusual spot.

Part tea room, part coffee shop, part restaurant, part cocktail bar, this unusual address lives up to its name. You'll soon realize that we're here to make you see life in pink: from the flowery ceiling to the pearly tables and velvet armchairs, it's a veritable paradise for Instagram-addicts.

But don't be fooled into thinking that this is just a façade. If the place is very visual, the delicacies on the menu are just as good as they are enchanting. But what we really appreciate here is that the menu isn't too overloaded and plays on our guilty pleasures: we love the fluffy pancakes, mega airy and super gourmet, naturally sweetened by the right fruit flavors, the gourmet tartines with a delicious beet hummus or the eggs Benedict! There's plenty to tantalize the taste buds of savoury eaters.

We promised you pink right down to the plate, and we've kept our promise. When it comes to pastries, Pinky Bloom offers plenty of red fruit. Strawberry, praline puffs, mille-feuilles, tarts of all kinds and pretty cupcakes and layer cakes. As for drinks, we're delighted with gourmet smoothies and comforting lattes. Here again, we appreciate Pinky Bloom's thoughtful approach, with a menu of mocktails that also serve as a base for alcoholic cocktails, with spirits added at extra cost.
