If you enjoy exotic flavors, the ¡Qué Gusto! festival returns from June 11 to 19, 2022, in Paris. And this year, pride of place will be given to the state of Veracruz on the Eastern coast of the country. Like last years, the festival promotes Mexican food culture, as well as Mexico, a genuine culinary destination.
And if you think Mexico only serves quesadillas, burritos, tacos and more corn soups, then you may have to think twice for Mexico has many culinary secrets and techniques you need to discover!
This year again, many chefs take part in Qué Gusto, especially Amandine Chaignot, Julia Sedefdjian, Beatriz Gonzalez, Alexis Braconnier, Jean-Baptiste Ascione, Luis Robledo, Mercedes Ahumada and Ayumi Sugiyama. But to discover the full program, you have to wait until mid-May!
In the meantime, we can tell you that after Alexis Braconnier, Julien Duboué and Eric Guérin, Amandine Chaignot has been named sponsor and ambassador of the 2022 edition of the festival. The chef will even cook a 6-hand dinner with Veracruz-based Mexican chef Erik Guerrero and Mexico City-based Luis Robledo, as well as a 4-hand dinner with Mexican chef Beatriz Gonzalez who owns two restaurants in Paris: Neva Cuisine and Coretta.
Are we drooling already?
