After the success of its first fast-food restaurant, Bioburger is back in the 9th arrondissement, in a new, bigger space. It's sure to delight organic food fans who want to eat like everyone else, or even better, for less, with the reassurance of knowing where their produce comes from.

Back in April, we told you about the first Bioburger in Paris's 2nd arrondissement. Well, after the success of the first one, Louis Frack and Anthony Darré, the founders, are doing it again by launching the second restaurant in Paris. Larger than its predecessor, this new organic fast food restaurant now offers a surface area of 70 m2 for 54 covers.

Enough to delight organic enthusiasts who sometimes find it difficult to eat well and safely at low prices in Paris. In the dining room, you'll find all the hallmarks of the famous Mc Do, with its counter, quick service and company. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a factory and salvage feel, accentuated by the vintage chairs. The difference? It's in the plate (or rather the cardboard box) and the products used.

At Bioburger, only organic ingredients are used, from frying oil to ketchup, salt and salad dressing. All of this is done with respect for the environment, since the packaging used is either recycled or biodegradable.

As for the buns, they're made from freshly baked bread delivered each morning by an organic baker. They are topped with a good farmhouse gouda and a butcher-style steak of French origin.

The fries, meanwhile, are made on the premises and cooked to order. Burgers and salads are composed according to the vegetables in season. So don't be surprised if you don't get tomatoes on your burger in winter, but something else instead. As for beverages, there's a good choice, including colas, iced teas and those delicious Bionade lemonades, with their original flavours, very low in sugar and thirst-quenching.

Contrary to what you might think, the menu is quite affordable. A menu consisting of a burger, a side dish and a drink or dessert costs €11, while a drink "and" dessert costs €13.

For my part, I tried the Pepper Burger with its spicy pepper sauce, but I'm told that the BBQ Burger and Bacon Burger are musts, and well appreciated. The burger is very good, the cheese tasty and the meat tastes like meat. And, something that's rare when you come out of a fast food restaurant, you're genuinely not hungry after you've eaten your plate.

For a sweet break or dessert, note that the pastries on offer are made on the premises by a pastry chef. Muffins, cookies and chocolate fondant are yours for the taking! Accompanied by an organic tea or coffee, you'll be spoilt for choice!

In short, a great new address for good, certified organic food!
