Are you looking for a fun, holiday-flavored restaurant to welcome your friends and family? Quai Ouest, with its immense space and magnificent view over the Seine, is the ideal restaurant for you. Located on the western edge of Paris, in Saint-Cloud, the restaurant, which has been in existence since 1992, is revitalizing itself with a new summer menu.
Imagine an industrial setting with large bay windows overlooking the Seine, and raw wood tables ranging from intimate to XXL with banquettes, all under a cloud of beach lampshades and a sky of string lights. Whether you're on the open terrace next to the braziers, or inside with the roof opening in fine weather, it's as if you're outside no matter what.
After going into mountain chalet mode this winter, Quai Ouest is back in summer guinguette mode. The menu, with see food accents, features the classics of fine brasseries reinvented under the inspiration of this contemporary venue, inviting you to get away from it all.
Spring is setting in at Quai Ouest, and already the first scents of embers are titillating our nostrils. On the quays of Saint-Cloud, a stone's throw from the Bois de Boulogne, this restaurant on the banks of the Seine has been cultivating an art of living that smacks of vacations for several seasons now. A large room bathed in light, a generous terrace and a breathtaking view of the river: everything you need to feel far away, without leaving the Paris region.
Every Tuesday evening, Quai Ouest rekindles its brazier, for grilled evenings to share with friends and family. On the menu, two star items: a chimichurri rib of beef weighing around 1.2 kg for two people (€39.5 per person), or generous jumbo Thai-style prawns (€29.5), both served with seasonal vegetables or pommes grenaille. Simple, tasty, wood-fired cuisine that's all about conviviality and smoky flavors, with the added bonus of an evening on the terrace.
But Quai Ouest is also a springtime menu, unveiled on April 12, 2025, that makes you want to try everything. Starters include smoked eggplant caviar (€9) and tuna tartare with saku sauce and wasabi mayonnaise (€13.5). Main courses include ricotta ravioli with lemon sauce (€18.5), mussels a la plancha with burrata stracciatella, vegetable vierge, pesto, 22-month aged parmesan and home fries (€19.5). And to round things off, we offer a chocolate mousse, Nocciolata and crumble (€8.5) or a strawberry Melba cup(€11.5).
And last but not least, there's the sweetness of fresh fruit in a pineapple shell, floating praline island, café gourmand or giant chocolate cookie with yoghurt ice cream.
Fancy a family meal? But with children, it's not always easy. With its large dining area and Sunday entertainment, there's plenty to tempt families. The children's menu is €14.50, including entertainment.
With its large bay windows and chic guinguette atmosphere, this address retains the warm identity that makes it an essential spot for prolonging sunny days. Indoors, under the bay window or al fresco by the brazier, you'll have a great time, drink in hand, with the Seine as your backdrop.
In short, this is a great idea for a change of scenery in a unique setting.
