Scandinavian music keeps on storming France. After Lykke Li, Aurora and even MØ, it’s Sigrid’s turn to be talked about in France.
With her hoarse and sweet voice, mixed with a Norwegian accent, Sigrid already has her vocal signature.
Sigrid grew up in Âlesund, a city at the entry of a fjord preserved by UNESCO lost between the sea and the mountains. It’s as if she’s been destined to visit the neighbor island, Giske and make music in this idyllic place.
The singer had been quickly approached by Norwegian label Petroleum with whom she’s released 3 singles and immediately broadcasted on the domestic radio.
After working for two years, Sigrid signed at Island Records and shares her time between Bergen and London.
The result is a pop completely addictive, paced with joyful tunes and strong choruses.
