The Back to 1980 festival and the Do Emigrante festival are merging in Val-d'Oise.

A new music festival lands in Île-de-France this weekend! Its name? The Back to 1980 Festival. And as the name implies, this musical event aims to celebrate the best of this iconic decade over three days. Catch it Friday, July 3, Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, 2026 in Val-d'Oise to discover the first edition of this new Île-de-France festival. On the program? Boney M., David & Jonathan, and Début de soirée. Note that, due to the merger of the Back to 1980 festival with the Do Emigrante festival, the event will take place in Herblay-sur-Seine rather than Taverny, as initially planned.

"Following the prefectural order that postponed the Do Emigrante Festival to July 3, 4 and 5, we found ourselves facing an exceptional situation. It was unfortunately impossible for us to run, on the same weekend, two festivals in two different towns, while guaranteeing the quality, safety and experience you deserve. After much consideration, we have taken a bold decision: merging the Back to 80 and Do Emigrante festivals into a single event," the organizers announced on social media. Initially planned in Taverny, the Back to 80 festival will therefore finally take place in Herblay-sur-Seine.

You live in the Val-d'Oise and you’re a nostalgia-loving fan of the 1980s? Rejoice, a new music festival celebrating this iconic decade is landing in the Île-de-France region. Simply titled "Back to 1980", the festival touches down from Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026.

The commune had until now been hosting the Do You Remember festival. Following its move to the Abbaye Notre-Dame du Val in Mériel, a new festival dedicated to the 1980s is taking over this summer in the department. The program? Three days of festivities bringing together a lineup of artists who defined an entire generation. On the lineup side, the Back to 1980 festival has unveiled the schedule for this very first edition. From July 3 to 5, 2026, get ready to catch live performances by Boney M., David and Jonathan, or even Début de Soirée.

To ensure complete immersion, the Back to 1980 festival will also feature vintage decorations and eighties-inspired activities.

Designed as a big, feel-good pop festival, the Festival Back to 1980 welcomes 80s nostalgiaists, as well as fans of pop, disco, new wave and classic variety music, from July 3 to 5, 2026.
