Les Aigles des Remparts kick off their 2026 season at the Théâtre des Remparts de Provins, from March 28 through November 1. In the heart of the cité médiévale de Provins, this family-friendly equestrian falconry show brings together raptors, horses and historical storytelling for 45 minutes.
The staging traces the routes of falconry, from the steppes of Central Asia to the Near East, then to the courts of feudal lords. Eagles, hawks, buzzards, falcons, snake-eagles, owls, and vultures soar freely above the arena, in harmony with the horses.
The company brings together 90 birds of prey from 20 different species. After the performance, audiences can continue the discovery in the aviaries and around the educational panels. Produced by Vol Libre, this production also highlights that falconry, practiced for millennia, has been on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list since 2010.
