After discovering the history of the Butte Montmartre, the permanent collections or thetemporary exhibition at the Musée Montmartre, take a short gardening break at the Jardins Renoir. Throughout the summer season, you'll have the opportunity tolearn how to garden in the city, by discovering how to have your own balcony vegetable garden, how to make cuttings ...
You'll learn all there is to know about urban vegetable gardening: which vegetable plants are best suited to it, how to care for them, how to prepare nutritious soil for your plants... But you'll also discover the ABCs of growing plants, learning how to sow, transplant and take home your vegetables, herbs or even edible flowers. If you'd prefer to learn the rudiments of cutting, there are also workshops dedicated to this technique, enabling you to reproduce your herbs (sage, rosemary, savory, bergamot mint, verbena) at home!
Behind these gardening workshops in the most bucolic of Paris’s hidden gardens lies Au Four et au Moulin, a company that helps urban dwellers reconnect with nature by teaching them how to grow a range of edible plants.Expect €60 per person or €115 for a pair for the vegetable-garden or cuttings sessions.
During a 1h30 to 2h workshop, get your hands dirty in the heart of the Jardins Renoir and create your own vegetable garden in the heart of Paris!
