Apple Festival 2026: tasty and creative workshops at Gally Farm in Saint-Cyr-l'École (78)

The 26 and 27 September 2026, the ferme de Gally de Saint-Cyr l'Ecole, located in the Yvelines department, is hosting a major Apple Festival, timed with the peak of the harvest at thepick-your-own. So, to celebrate the moment properly, come and pick kilos of apples and take part in playful and gourmet workshops around this autumn fruit.

It's time for the whole family to come and discover or rediscover the beautiful Ferme de Gally, from the pick-your-own garden where you can unearth many varieties of seasonal vegetables, fruit and flowers, to the educational farm and small woodland. There's also a huge market selling products from the farm and local producers, as well as an area specially designed for workshops.

What's on the agenda

• Guillaume Tell Workshop: test your aim by targeting an apple perched on the head of a straw dummy — family-friendly.
• Sensory Awakening Workshop: discover the flavors of different apple varieties.
• Apple Juice Workshop
• Smoothie Bike: craft your own apple-based smoothie by pedaling!
• Dried Flower Crown Workshop: using bundles of wheat, dried flowers, and apple tree branches, create charming autumn crowns.
• Apple tastings, applesauce, Gally jams, and a thyme bar, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The workshops run continuously, with no pre-registration required, and spaces are limited per session from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 17:30. Don’t miss the gourmet tastings of the Cueillette de Gally’s apples, apple–cinnamon compotes, oven-baked apples, Gally jams (fig or strawberry), and a "Thyme Bar"—herbal teas crafted from the farm’s fresh aromatics. And don’t forget a 5:30 PM session on animal care.

To take part in this charming Apple Festival 2026, budget €13.50 per child aged 3 to 12 and €7.50 per adult, with online booking advised. Online reservation is recommended.
