The 2026 Apple and Market Gardening Festival: workshops and activities at Saint-Denis Farm

Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, the Gally Farm of Saint-Denis is hosting its big Apple Festival. An event designed to celebrate this seasonal fruit, heralding the start of autumn. The program looks set to be packed, with farm tours and delicious workshops.

As the Apple Festival is in full swing at the Gally Farm in Saint-Cyr-l'École (78), the Saint-Denis Farm is also hosting an event focused on the autumn fruit we know best in France: the apple. So roll up your sleeves for an apple pie workshop, learn to press your own apple juice, join a giant apple tree coloring activity, and of course sample the varieties of apples grown at Saint-Denis farm.

To learn everything about vegetable farming, the farm teams also host on-farm vegetable tastings, gardening workshops, and guided tours to learn all about the fields and the cultivation techniques used on site. Not to mention the animal care sessions at the farm!

What’s on for the 2026 Apple and Market-Gardening Festival in Saint-Denis:

• presentation and tasting of different varieties of apples, from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm
• apple juice workshop, every hour, from 11am to 6pm (except between 1pm and 2pm)
• apple pie workshop, wood-fired baking and tasting, at 2pm and 4pm, reservation required
• collective apple tree activity, coloring and decorating an apple tree, continuous all day
• presentation and tasting of vegetables grown on the farm, from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm
• bulb-planting workshop, from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm
• guided tour of the fields on market gardening and the farm’s history, from 12pm to 5pm
• care for the animals, at 11am, 3pm and 6pm
