National Day 2026 in Les Mureaux (78): fireworks canceled, community dance kept on July 13

For the 2026 National Day, the town of Les Mureaux is staging a community dance to get everyone—from kids to adults—onto their feet! Unfortunately, the fireworks have been canceled due to a prefectural order.

Due to a ban by the Yvelines Prefecture, the fireworks originally slated for Monday, July 13, have been canceled.

For the Fête Nationale, the town of Mureaux is gearing up for a grand celebration on July 13, 2026, designed to dazzle you. This year again, the traditional fireworks will be fired from a barge on the Seine, while a public dance is also planned, to keep you dancing until dawn!

Starting at 6:30 p.m., head to the lawn of Parc de l’Oseraie for a big public dance open to everyone, featuring a DJ and both musical and dance strolls. The evening continues with a torch-lit procession for the whole family at 10:30 p.m., guiding revelers to Place Bellevue where you can watch the fireworks from 11 p.m., launched from a barge drifting along the Seine.

A sight that reflects those beautiful colors on the water and makes the children's eyes light up! And the night is far from finished, as the National Day 2026 celebration in Les Mureaux will roll on until 2 a.m., with the return of the popular dance. A night to be savored with friends or family.
