What’s on for National Day 2026 in Garges-lès-Gonesse (95)? Fireworks canceled, but the concert will go ahead.

Due to a prefectural order banning the use of fireworks (which could easily spark fires given the current drought), the fireworks display and the torchlight procession have been cancelled in Garges-lès-Gonesse.

The 14 juillet is an important date in France, marking the country's Fête nationale. Every year, many towns and cities host festivities to properly celebrate this historic occasion. The tradition goes that on July 14, the French celebrate the storming of the Bastille with a feu d'artifice and a bal populaire. It’s the perfect way to have fun and be dazzled! Among these festive destinations, Garges-lès-Gonnesse, located in the Val-d'Oise (95), is lining up an electrifying experience to spend a memorable day with family or friends. Residents and passing visitors will be able to gather on 13 July 2026 from 7 p.m. at Fort de Stains, as has become the custom.

Then, from 11pm onwards, fireworks explode in the city skies, providing a feast for the eyes of young and old alike. Oh la belle bleue!
