A truly worthy National Day! Disneyland Paris invites you to discover, on this July 14, 2026, its traditional evening show to celebrate France and its history (through Disney stories...), with a brand-new show featuring a range of effects and drones from Dronisos. And once again, as every year, the amusement park lifts France’s colors high with a display in the spirit of the one at the Eiffel Tower!
To catch this spectacle, you need a ticket to enter Disneyland Park. That lets you enjoy the park’s many attractions, shops, parades and restaurants before the night’s grand finale. Usually the fireworks blaze in Fantasyland, where the majestic Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant proudly towers. And again this year, the show de drones prepared for the occasion highlighted the best of France and the Disney universe.
A replacement spectacle for this special day Disney Tales of Magic (by contrast, Disney Cascade of Lights, the nighttime show at Disney Adventure World), was held at its usual time. Regarding the July 14 show, it began at 22:45, runs about ten minutes and blends pyrotechnics, lights, lasers, fountains, and a drone ballet, as we’ve come to expect from Disneyland Paris. It followed “Tinker Bell on a journey around the world, through Disney and Pixar classics,” as explained in a press release.
Our take on the July 14 show at Disneyland Paris:
Disneyland Paris once again offered its interpretation of the traditional July 14 fireworks display, and for this national celebration the park unveiled a brand-new show. Unfortunately, there were no pyrotechnics due to red heatwave vigilance and the current prefectural decree issued for fire risk, among other constraints.
The spectacle was almost entirely reimagined (only two sequences were kept exactly as they were). We hope you’ll get to enjoy it in this same format again next year.
The story follows Tinker Bell guiding audiences on a journey through a Paris we hold dear, interwoven with tributes to various Disney animated films.
Our take:
First, unlike many of the park’s other nighttime shows, this one is highly popular. If you want a good spot, plan to arrive well in advance—more than an hour early (some people had waited two hours and still not found prime seating).
As for the best viewing area, aim to be toward the end of Main Street as you approach the castle (near Central Plaza). If you plant yourself directly in front of the castle, you might miss certain effects, such as smoke on Main Street U.S.A. during some scenes, or the snowy/misted effects seen during Christmas. The best bet is to position yourself along Main Street, not too far from the castle, since some tableaux don’t read as well from farther away (the buildings at the far end of Main Street can obstruct the view).
The show clocks in at a solid 12 minutes—neither too long nor too brief, leaving you wanting more. The sequence is brisk and dynamic, and the music is catchy enough to spark a little dancing—watch the crowd around you (you’ll likely see someone winding up a leg to the French Cancan or the Moulin Rouge tableau).
As the finale arrives, your eyes will be drawn upward to a giant, France-colored Mickey head, echoing the castle’s silhouette. A conclusive closing tableau invites you to gradually head for the exits and end the night on a high note.
A winning plan to delight children and adults alike, and deliver a magical evening!
Show and fire featuring France and its heroes made in Disney, such as Beauty and the Beast, Ratatouille, etc.
