Fête Nationale 2026 in Aulnay-sous-Bois (93): Fireworks canceled, replaced by an outdoor cinema session

Due to the heatwave and the elevated fire risk, the town of Aulnay-sous-Bois is canceling its fireworks display, originally scheduled for July 13 for Bastille Day. Instead, the city is inviting families to Robert Ballanger Park for an outdoor cinema screening.

No fireworks this year for Bastille Day in Aulnay-sous-Bois. "Due to the current weather conditions and the increased risk of fire ignition, the originally planned fireworks display is cancelled, but the program has been adapted with an outdoor cinema session at 8:30 p.m.", the town said on its official site. The public is invited to discover or rediscover "The Wild Robot", "a family-friendly, poetic work, ideal for sharing a warm moment on a summer evening".

"This adaptation is necessary given the particularly sensitive context. After several recent heatwaves and with Météo-France forecasting temperatures well above seasonal norms, soils and green spaces are increasingly fragile. These conditions, combined with the drought context, raise the risks associated with the use of pyrotechnic elements. The prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis has furthermore placed the department under forest fire vigilance, calling for stronger prevention and caution in the face of fire risk. In this context, the City has chosen responsibility to ensure public safety, the safety of residents, the teams mobilized, and the environment" added the municipality.

The 14 juillet is celebrated all over France with fireworks, public dances, firefighters' balls, concerts, military parades and free activities. In Paris as in Île-de-France, towns are unveiling their schedules to celebrate the Fête nationale near you.
