July 14 is one of the high points of summer in France. To mark the occasion, many towns host festivities open to everyone, with animations, shows, concerts, and popular dances. The celebrations typically carry on into the evening with the traditional fireworks, while in Paris the Champs-Élysées military parade remains one of the day's most emblematic highlights.
If you live in Savigny-sur-Orge or nearby, the National Day 2026 is fast approaching! The traditional fireworks display is on the program, but heads up — it will be held in the town on July 13, 2026, not on July 14. Don't get the date wrong, or you and your little ones might be disappointed!
On July 13, the vibe will be pure celebration! Come watch the traditional fireworks and enjoy the firefighters’ ball. An evening dedicated to music, sharing, and good cheer.
On Bastille Day, a festive evening awaits young and old. The centerpiece of the celebrations, the grand fireworks display, will light up the sky at 11:15 p.m. from the Parc des sports rugby stadium, delivering a vivid spectacle to enjoy with family or friends. The stadium gates open at 10 p.m. For safety reasons, attendance is limited to 4,000 people.
Before the fireworks, the celebrations will kick off at 7 p.m. with the traditional firefighters’ ball held at the fire station.
