Museums, monuments, castles, churches, institutions and much more, many cultural venues are playing their part for the occasion, including in the Paris region! While Paris is a real eye-catcher, the rest of the Île-de-France region also has plenty to offer enthusiasts and the curious, with its lesser-known heritage that's well worth the detour!

Town Hall
Constructed as a walk that starts and ends in the Blagis district, Noëlle Herrenschmidt's new book, "Promenade amoureuse dans Sceaux", presents nineteen houses and residences in Sceaux. For a month, from the European Heritage Days to the Journées nationales de l'architecture, an exhibition at the Hôtel de Ville will showcase the book's illustrations, highlighting Sceaux's heritage, architecture and history.
André Lurcat's studio house
The Bloc-House artists' collective, in partnership with the town of Sceaux, presents the creations of 14 artists selected by a jury of professionals. These singular and inspiring works will be displayed in installations in dialogue with Sceaux's heritage.
Tourism House
In downtown Sceaux, the built heritage, with or without prestige, is not afraid to be reused, recycled or converted. Each generation of residents cultivates its own perception of the buildings. Here's a look back at some of the many uses to which public buildings have been put: a cinema in a garage, the former municipal workshops used for after-school activities, a library in a château... These are just a few examples.
