Catch the heritage on an XXL treasure hunt in Paris! This Sunday, September 21, 2025, the Champs-Élysées go into pedestrian mode and are transformed into a huge treasure hunt for the Journées Européennes du Patrimoine. Free and open to all, this year's flagship event is a life-size Heritage Hunt, orchestrated by the Comité Champs-Élysées, inviting young and old to play urban explorer.
From midday onwards, all you have to do is follow the signs along the avenue and scan the first QR code via an app. A question, devised byhistorian Cyril Buffet, is immediately displayed. Correct answer? The next stage is unlocked. In all, twenty riddles line the route, revealing anecdotes, secrets and unsuspected details of the avenue. There' s no need to register, just let yourself be guided and play along, solo, with family or friends.
The prizes on offer include theater tickets, brunches, hotel accommodations, exclusive invitations, gift vouchers and other gifts from the brands that make the Avenue's heart beat faster. From Fouquet's to Ladurée, from Petit Palais to Théâtre du Rond-Point, from Lancôme to Bacha Coffee, not forgetting Galeries Lafayette, Publicis Drugstore or the Marriott, Napoléon and Vernet hotels, the whole district is getting involved.
At the same time, the avenue hosts a LEGO XXL exhibition featuring the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and a never-before-seen reproduction of the Champs-Élysées in bricks (5 x 2 meters), as well as an inclusive area with LEGO initiations in Braille. At the same time, the Grand LEGO Tournament brings together 256 teams from 2pm to 5:30pm.
And to complete this urban hunt, the area is also alive with the traditional European Heritage Days: theArc de Triomphe, the Grand Palais, the Palais de l'Élysée and theHôtel de la Marine open their doors to visitors.
