Due to Storm Benjamin and the strong winds expected on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in the capital, the City of Paris has announced the closure of its parks and cemeteries until further notice.

With the arrival of Storm Benjamin, Paris is preparing to face strong winds on October 23, 2025. This Thursday, Météo France has placed the capital and the rest of the Île-de-France region on yellow alert for the risk of strong winds.

Météo-France is forecasting gusts of up to 85 km/h until early afternoon. The sky will remain overcast, with temperatures ranging between 10 and 12°C.

Consequences? The City of Paris has decided to close its green spaces and cemeteries en as a precautionary measure on Thursday. Parks, gardens, squares, and cemeteries will therefore be closed and will remain so throughout Thursday, until further notice. This is also the case in other cities in the Île-de-France region.
