The French celebrate Jean-Guile! Get ready to dress up and butter your sandwiches this Monday, November 14, 2022! Here are our favorite bakers, where you can indulge in delicious bread!

Hearts up! The Jean-Guile is back! This famous fictional festival featured in the series"La Flamme" is coming to liven things up this Tuesday, November 14, 2023. We can't afford to miss this crazy celebration and our delicious buttered toast. After all, if even Marc lent himself (awkwardly) to the game, why shouldn't we?

For those unaware of the origins of this popular festival, it celebrates Jean-Guile, a talented baker from the village of Kayserberg who unfortunately had arms too short to butter his bread. Taken aback by this dramatic situation, the villagers wanted to put a smile back on Jean-Guile' s face: they showed their solidarity by dedicating a festival to him, buttering bread for him.

Since then, we've been dressing up, singing the Jean-Guile song, feasting on buttered bread and, above all, refraining from applauding! By the way, do you know why we celebrate it on November 14th? Quite simply because it's our favorite baker's birthday. But don't forget: we don't celebrate Jean-Guile between 3.40pm and 7pm.

To celebrate this holiday in style, the most important element is, of course, good bread! So here are our favorite addresses:
