Users of line 6 of the Paris metro will have to adapt. Due to modernization work, traffic will be partially interrupted from Thursday November 2 to Monday November 6, 2023 inclusive, right in the middle of the All Saints' Day vacation period. Find out which stations will be closed for these 5 consecutive days, and what the alternative solutions are.

This autumn, RATP is continuing its work on its transport systems. The result? Several metro lines are partially or totally closed. Line 14 of the Paris metro, for example, will be completely shut down for 15 consecutive days. Line 6 is also affected by these traffic disruptions.

"As part of the modernization of line 6, RATP has announced 5 days of partial closures on line 6, which links Charles de Gaulle - Étoile to Nation via Trocadéro, Montparnasse and Bercy.

Take note: traffic is interrupted on line 6 of the Paris metro during the All Saints' Day vacations. Specifically, there will be no metro service from Thursday November 2 to Monday November 6, 2023 inclusive, between Charles de Gaulle - Étoile and Trocadéro stations. This disruption covers the whole day.

Charles de Gaulle - Étoile, Kléber and Boissière stations will be closed for the 5 days of work. Trocadéro station will be the temporary terminus for trains arriving from Nation. According to RATP, this partial closure is to enable the"replacement of two track switches".

So what are the alternatives for travelling between Charles de Gaulle - Étoile and Trocadéro during this partial traffic disruption? While some may opt for walking or cycling (count 9 minutes on foot between Kléber and Boissière, for example, or 3 minutes by bike), others will choose the Bus option, with either the N°22 or the N°30 bus.

Please note that Bir-Hakeim station will be closed for several months.
