After weeks of cloudy spells punctuated by showers and sunny spells, it's time for the sun to shine on the Ile-de-France region this week. But it's likely to be a hot one, with temperatures expected to reach around 30°C in the Paris region.
According to Météo France, from the afternoon of Thursday August 7, 2025, temperatures will reach 28°C. The following day, Friday August 8, temperatures rise to reach 30°C. This trend will continue throughout the following week. A milder climate cannot be expected until the week of August 18.
As a reminder, a heatwave is an episode of high daytime and night-time temperatures, where evenings do not fall below 20 degrees, for a period of at least three days. Remember to hydrate regularly, stay in the shade as much as possible, wear hats or caps and avoid physical exertion during the hottest hours.
