The City of Paris is launching a competition to help identify missing or damaged street signs in the capital, using an app. And you could even win a gift!

If you regularly stroll the streets of Paris, you're bound to notice a few street signs that have disappeared or been damaged by time. When you do, pull out your smartphone and the DansMaRue application, which will enable you to report them directly, and maybe win you a gift! Until February 4, 2024, the city of Paris is offering a participatory competition to help it identify signs that need a facelift between now and the Olympic Games!

In the absence of these useful signposts, it can sometimes be difficult to recognize a street and get lost. To improve orientation for tourists during the competition, and for Parisians in the public space, they all need to be in the right place! Those who report the most signs will be eligible to win a personalized street sign, in their own image, and two additional signs will be awarded by random draw, between March and April.

It's a great way to give the capital a helping hand, and take the opportunity to stroll the streets with your eyes wide open! So get ready , get set, go!
