Over the coming months, a number of new features are in store for public transport users in Paris and the surrounding region. While new trains will soon be running on metro line 10, Val-de-Marne will see the birth of Câble 1, the first cable car in the Paris region.
But passengers will also have to contend with further traffic disruptions due to new modernization work. This is the case on line 14 as well as on RER line B. On this busy RER line, several sections are affected:"The work being carried out on the line means that, during certain periods, the transport offer will have to be modified or the number of trains running reduced, and traffic on RER line B will have to be interrupted", as explained on the RATP website.
So what can we expect on the RER B over the coming days and weeks? This weekend, on September 13 and 14, traffic will be disrupted between Gare du Nord and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV, all day and in both directions. The same disruption is scheduled for Sunday September 21, 2025, but this time between Gare du Nord and Aulnay-sous-Bois. On the last weekend of September, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28, trains will be at a standstill between Denfert-Rochereau and La Croix de Berny/Robinson, again all day and in both directions.
Trains between Gare du Nord and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV / Mitry-Claye will be closed until September 30, Monday to Friday from 10:45pm, in both directions.
